VORT-X Desander
HULK’s VORT-X has been engineered to have maximum sand separation efficiency and to work as a system to homogenize wellbore fluid and break-up sand slugs to help you run longer. This desander’s efficiency comes from its simplicity, eliminating failures seen by traditional desanders that utilize internal spirals. It also offers sand and solids protection for your entire ESP system, keeping your ESP healthy and able to maximize production and ultimately allowing the same ESP to have greater drawdown and produce more barrels.
HULK’s engineering team has extensive ESP knowledge, from theory to the field, and understands the complexity of sand and solids issues in artificial lift systems. They applied that knowledge and designed HULK VORT-X, the most efficient sand tool available.
Other desanders are easily overwhelmed by sand slugs and will ultimately cough up sand, sending a slug up to the ESP. Most operators have experienced a situation where sand damaged the ESP or completely failed it, but the tail-joints were not FULL! That is an example of a desander not performing its minimum requirement of filling the tailpipe.
HULK Sand Separation Technology
VORT-X sand separation technology efficiently and effectively removes sand from the fluid and fills the tail-joints. Once the tail-joints are full, typical desanders are done. VORT-X is just getting started. By working as an engineered system, it is able to process sand and solids, homogenizing the fluid, providing a solution your ESP is better equipped to handle. This results in running 40+% longer by greatly reducing wear, damage, and failures.
